ＣＩ（Common Interface）
→スクランブル解除システム（CAM）を挿入するためのソケット形式。


CAM（Conditional Access Module）
→CAMはＣＩデコーダーのＣＩに挿入するスクランブル解除システム。　
ちょうどノートパソコンのＰＣカードのようなもので、CAMにカードを挿入することにより、JSTVのスクランブルが解除される。


CI Plus or Common Interface Plus implements a form of copy protection between a Conditional Access Module (CAM) and the television receiver (display). A CI+ module inserted into the corresponding slot of a compatible TV set allows a user to subscribe and watch a pay TV service from a pay TV service operator, without requiring a set-top-box.
